There are many job opportunities for UX UI designers in India with most of the leading companies. In fact, we have identified seven types of organizations that hire UX UI designers in India:
1. Job Opportunities in MNC / IT Companies
Large multinational companies like Wipro, Accenture and Infosys fall in this category. Clearly, these companies have their own in-house software development departments. Undoubtedly, they need UX UI designers to work on various software development projects.

These firms undertake various software development projects. These are 10 to 1000 member firms that develop web-based software and mobile apps. Companies such as this usually get work on a projects-basis from clients.

You could call this the future of freelancing. Here you’ll be a part of a remote design team, working full time. However, this is not freelancing, nor it is a project-based work. Thus, sitting right here in Chennai or Bangalore, you could work for a firm based in the USA or UK. All you need is a laptop and an internet connection!
7. Job Opportunities in Consulting
Do you have a wealth of experience in the industry and don’t want to work for full-time? Become a consultant. You could work as an Information Architect, Usability Analyst, or a Heuristics Evaluator. As a consultant, you get to work on various firms, on various projects, at various locations! And earn hourly.
